Canyon Escape 3-Day National Parks Adventure from Las Vegas
This Canyon Escape 3-Day National Parks Adventure brings you the diversity and enthusiasm of the "Old West." Each day is spent touring a different national park where you will have the opportunity to take photographs, sightsee, and do some hiking in these amazing natural areas.
The Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon are perhaps the best known national parks in the American Southwest. Walk along the rim of the Grand Canyon, splash down the Narrows in Zion and hike through the colorful, unusual hoodoos in Bryce Canyon. This tour is the ideal way to experience these natural wonders.
Evenings at camp allow for explorations of the Coral Pink Sand dunes. The park itself is breathtaking, with coral-colored dunes, surrounded by red sandstone cliffs, blue skies, and deep emerald forests. This is a photographer's paradise. A walk on the dunes at night is magical. Naked toes will delight in a moonlit walk, digging into grainy, tepid sand.
These three parks were all created by wind and water eroding sedimentary rock. As you will discover, each of these destinations provides unique landscapes and unique experiences - each as memorable as the other.

Itinerary:
Day 1
Leaving the glitter of Las Vegas behind, your first day takes you to Bryce Canyon National Park where erosion has shaped colorful sandstone into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles, and mazes. These formations are collectively called "hoodoos." You will marvel at these whimsical formations inside giant horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters. The Navajo or Bristlecone Loop and Queens Garden trails are just a few of the great hiking options available in this unique park. The accommodations for this evening are located at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, a giant pink sand box on the Colorado River Plateau. The sweeping expanse of dunes is a massive playground for hiking or just playing in the sand.
Day 2
The second day of this adventure takes you to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. You can hike along the rim of the Grand Canyon, where spectacular views of this tremendous wonder of the world abound. Visit the historic lodge and look out its giant windows to the canyon below, or enjoy a Ranger talk by the stone fireplace. If time allows, you can take a horseback ride into the canyon on one of the scenic trails. In the evening, you will get the chance to explore the Sand Dunes once again back at camp.
Day 3
Your final day starts early as the tour heads to Zion National Park. Zion grabs your focus with its sheer sandstone walls and dramatic cliffs. After a quick stop at the Visitor's Center, you will have the opportunity to hike the Narrows (weather permitting), summit Angel's Landing or relax by the Virgin River. If you feel adventurous, you can rent a tube and go for a float. Horseback riding is also a great way to explore Zion. For those wanting a break from the more physically strenuous activities, a free shuttle to Springdale offers restaurants and shopping with local artist flair. After an enjoyable day - whatever activity you choose - it's time to say goodbye to the canyons and return to Las Vegas.

If you have any questions about bringing the right gear, your E-Ticket will include a contact number for your guides.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What time will we get back? -- Return to the Las Vegas Strip locations is roughly 7:00 pm on the last day of the trip.
What is included during the trip? -- Guided trips are all inclusive. Round trip transportation to and from Las Vegas, along with all in-park transfers and fees, is included. You will get personalized service and freshly prepared meals.
Is there a minimum age requirement? -- Yes. To make the most of our trip, participants must rise early and usually retire late. Young children sometimes struggle with the lengthy days, and long drives. For the enjoyment of everyone on these multi-day canyon trips, we ask that children be at least 6 years of age.
What kind of experience do your guides have? -- Your guides have years of experience in the outdoors; both personally and professionally. They possess a vast knowledge of the areas visited - the trails, the wildlife, the plants, and weather patterns. Before they can become lead guides, they must undergo strict training programs which prepare them to manage groups, make good decisions, and handle emergencies. CPR and First Aid training, as well as Wilderness First Aid or First Responder is standard, and they carry satellite radios and/or cell phones at all times.
Do you supply alcohol? May we bring our own? -- Alcohol is not supplied (nor is it allowed during daytime activities); however, you may bring your own for dinner or the campfire. You will have an opportunity to purchase last minute snacks, beer, or wine before heading to camp, so if this interests you, bring some spending cash.
When should I make a reservation? -- Space is limited, so you should make your reservations as early as possible.
Are there minimum participant requirements? -- Yes. In order to keep prices affordable, these trips require a minimum of four (4) participants in order to run as scheduled. In the event we are 1 or 2 people short, your guides may offer the option of still running the trip, for a small additional fee. They may also offer options of rescheduling or moving you to another tour. If none of the options work with your schedule, you will be refunded in full.
Should I buy travel insurance? -- If you are concerned about the possibility of having to cancel, it us strongly suggested you purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect your vacation investment. You will have the option during the ordering process to purchase travel insurance. Our cancellation policy applies in every instance, with no exceptions for any reason. We are not responsible for any expenses incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, or illness - and assume no financial responsibility for personal injury, emergency evacuation, or equipment lost or damaged in any way.
