The Real Florida Manatee Adventure Tour from Orlando
The Real Florida Mantatee Adventure takes you to the Crystal River area of Florida's Gulf Coast. This is the Manatee Capital of the World, and the only place in America where it is legal to swim with manatees.
Crystal River is home to stunning natural springs and lots of wildlife, and you’ll get to meet an essential part of it under the supervision of a Coast Guard Certified Captain. You will learn all about the unique West Indian manatee – and then get to see some of them, up close and personal in the crystal-clear waters!
Next, you'll head to Homosassa Springs State Park, a genuine hidden gem full of local wildlife including the endangered Florida panther, black bears, red wolves, bobcats, alligators, whooping cranes, and flamingos.
Also found here is the unique sight of Nature’s Fish Bowl, an underwater observatory built over the mouth of the main spring where a huge number of fish hang out, while the Park has its own manatee rehabilitation program to provide another exciting glimpse of these rare sea mammals. Lunch here is included, too.
Finally, the day will conclude with an exciting airboat ride on the Withlacoochee River, another natural haven where you can see more wildlife in its natural habitat and enjoy the thrill of skimming the water at up to 45 mph in these unique, flat-bottomed craft.

There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Tour / Activity Description
- These tours follow all guidelines according to local, state and federal regulations as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. The safety and well-being of our customers and staff is the number one priority.
- Temperature checks for all drivers, guides and customers prior to boarding the vehicle.
- Require all drivers, guides and customers to wear a face mask for the duration of the tour.
- All tour vehicles are sanitized before each tour and throughout the day.
- High traffic touch areas like handles and rails are disinfected regularly throughout the day.
- Guides and guess will practice social distancing of 6 feet between parties whenever possible.
- Please use the provided hand sanitizer prior to boarding and exiting the tour vehicle.
