The 30-minute By the Sea Carriage Tour travels along the Victoria waterfront and through the historic James Bay Neighborhood nearby. Enjoy some of Victoria's greatest landmarks in a relaxing, horse-drawn carriage ride.
The tour begins alongside the British Columbia Parliament Buildings. They are of Neo-Baroque architectural style and face the Inner Harbour and are located across from the luxurious Empress Hotel. There is a large statue of Queen Victoria on the front lawn and a gold-covered statue of Captain George Vancouver atop the dome.
Your tour continues through the historic James Bay neighborhood. This area is where some of the oldest homes in Victoria are located. You'll be amazed by the architectural styles of these homes.
The tour passes the Dallas Road waterfront, where you will view the magnificent Olympic Mountains and see the Emily Carr House Museum. Carr was one of Canada's most important literary figures.

Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy
If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. All change requests must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
